SaveTheDugong.org  is a non-profit organization.  Its worldwide campaign aims to raise public awareness of the disappearance of dugongs due to hunting, boat strikes, illegal gill net fishing and habitat destruction.   The primary objective of this campaign is to reach a worldwide ban on hunting endangered dugongs.
The founder, administrator, researchers, artists and interns who dedicate their time to this effort, volunteer their work without compensation, and reside in multiple countries, including: Australia, the United States, Spain, the United Kingdom and Canada.  SaveTheDugong is a standalone organization, with no financial, political, organizational ties of any kind to other wildlife conservation organizations.
